"A Heart's Desire" Blog Tour & #giveaway Day 5

This is the first book written by Kris Michaels that I’ve read, and after reading this book, it’s not going to be the only one I read. As far as I’m concerned, A Heart’s Desire ticked all the boxes.

I fell in love with the characters, especially Liam. He found a special place in my heart. He endured torture that I’m sure would have broken a lesser person, but he came out on the other side even though he was broken, both physically and mentally. Steel McKenzie was a strong alpha male, but was not afraid to show his softer side and protective instincts when someone he cared about was in danger. Being an FBI agent had nothing to do with it. The minor characters, whether good or bad (and believe me there were BAD) each had an important part to play in this book and I couldn’t imagine it without any one of them.

The story itself ensured that only basic housework was done during the time I was reading it. This book was filled with drama from the beginning until the end. It also kept me awake last night because I had to finish it before I could go to sleep. I had to know how it finished! But even though I needed to finish A Heart’s Desire, I didn’t want it to end.

And then there was the hot sizzling sex. I’ve read a few M/M books before, but nothing compared to this one.

I gave A Heart’s Desire 5 sizzling stars and I’ve already downloaded another book written by Kris Michaels.
