Sooo...if you want to procrastinate something PRODUCTIVE... Go to the Editing Wizard to help you feel better about all those dangling marsupials, I mean participles, you're using... There is a site called AutoCrit Editing Wizard that you can upload/cut n' paste some of your manuscript to see how you entertain a computer! Okay, it's more niffty than that! It tells you things like how many "and", "it", "whatever" you used. You can join for free but you're limited to 500 words per submission. There are subscriptions $47-$117/year. AutoCrit Wizard doesn't just do overused words though. It really helps you identify first draft problems. The list you see on the right are actual buttons on the site that you can use to identify sentence variation, cliches, pacing, readability. It's a well crafted program and one of the ones that has been useful for me. It's not just handy--it's fun to laugh at myself and see how I can improve. ACTION ITEM: Try it! Buy it if you like it!
