Two stubborn alphas collide and melt into each other :)
This book has some really intense BDSM scenes - interesting and intriguing to read but definitely not for the faint of heart and hopefully not for those hoping to 'learn' from a book. The elements in this book should be taken seriously if that is something you want to enter. I think the author has done a GREAT job explaining how people must always make sure they are safe in any situation and that it is ok to have limits and say no. She also outlines how the BDSM community takes care of their own to ensure the safety of others at all times.
That being said, I liked the storyline, I love it when a self-professed Dom who vows to remain single gets hit with cupids arrow. That is what happens to Carsen and since this is uncharted territory to him, his protective tendencies and take charge persona are exactly what drives Logan away. I loved that Carsen would do anything for Logan and he realized that on their first weekend together, he stepped right into the boyfriend role without really consulting her and in the end, this is what made Logan push him away. Yes, Logan craved and needed a take charge kind of guy but she was afraid of it because of her past and was able to walk away. Of course Elizabeth keeps us rooting for the couple even as Logan keeps pushing and Carsen keeps trying and you'll have to read the book to find out what happens but let me tell you there is a whole lot of steamy, heart melting action going on between this couple.
